Is Your Item a Stone or a Fragment?
The fragment can look like the upgrade material you need at first glance. Read its full name and tooltip: Amplify Stone Fragment is a piece of the finished item, and its description points you to Substance Morph.
- Check the item in your Cube inventory. If the name reads Amplify Stone Fragment and the tooltip mentions conversion through Substance Morph, you have the fragment.
- Convert the fragment through Substance Morph. Check the resulting item's name: you want Amplify Stone before using it for enhancement beyond +15.
- Use the finished stone on your selected upgrade target. Your goal is to move that piece past +15 toward +20. Check the equipment's enhancement value afterward to see where it stands.
The fragment is not the finished stone used for this upgrade. Keep the conversion step separate from your decision about which equipment deserves the investment.
