Asmodians enter at Garden of the Illusion God; Elyos enter at Black Claw Village. If you're searching for the AION 2 Abyss portal location, choose the destination for your faction. These portals are part of the Episode 5 main quests, and you also need to meet the gear requirement for the Abyss region you want to enter.
Where is the Abyss portal in AION 2?
The Abyss portal is in Garden of the Illusion God for Asmodians and Black Claw Village for Elyos.
| Your faction | Portal location | Quest context |
|---|---|---|
| Asmodians | Garden of the Illusion God | Episode 5 main quests |
| Elyos | Black Claw Village | Episode 5 main quests |
Match your faction before planning the trip. The two place names point to different faction entrances, so heading for the other faction's listed location sends you toward the wrong destination for this route. Keep aion 2 interactive map handy while finding your destination.
How do you enter the AION 2 Abyss portal?
Follow the Episode 5 main quests to your faction's portal and meet the destination region's minimum gear requirement.
- Choose your faction's entrance. For Asmodians, use Garden of the Illusion God; for Elyos, use Black Claw Village. Check the destination name against the table before travelling.
- Check your gear score for the region. Chaotic Lower Reshanta requires 1,000 or higher. Compare your displayed score with that requirement before trying to enter; if you're below it, work on aion 2 guide to 1400 before returning.
Finding the portal can look like the whole task, but location and entry eligibility are separate checks. The steadier approach is to check both before making the trip.
What gear score do you need for the AION 2 Abyss portal?
Chaotic Lower Reshanta requires at least 1,000 gear score; other Abyss regions can have different minimums.
The screenshot shows the Manastone enhancement screen with 1,000 beneath the character's level indicator. In the video segment above, the player reaches 1,000 and says they wanted to get through the Abyss portal. That makes the frame useful for checking the displayed score before entry.
Treat 1,000 as the requirement for Chaotic Lower Reshanta. Check the minimum for your intended region rather than assuming every Abyss destination uses the same threshold.
Once you've reached the correct entrance and met the region's gear requirement, you're ready to try entering the Abyss. For your next destination, check aion 2 abyss base location; for progression after entry, continue with aion 2 abyss points.
