Use this AION 2 gear hub to plan your Gear Score climb, from the mid-700s at level 45 to 1400 and the Transcendent content after it. Upgrade the pieces you'll keep, fill your Arcana slots once you reach 1,600, and extract the leftovers instead of letting them fill your Cube.
Raise Your Gear Score
At level 45 you can sit around 700 Gear Score with the main story unfinished. Green quests, Daeva Board points, the +10 story weapon and guard, two Clash runes, an upgraded belt and amulet, and selected yellow dungeon pieces with mana stones take you toward 1000. Finish the story at 1000 to upgrade its bracelet, then keep reassessing after each new piece until 1400. The full route is in Gear Score Progression.
Fill Your Arcana Slots
Arcana opens at 1,600 Gear Score through the Transcendents. Run both initial encounters, equip your best drops, and replace green cards with blue and yellow ones as you go. Spare cards either enhance the cards you keep or get Extracted into crystals for Transmute crafting. See Arcana Cards.
Push Gear Past +15
Beyond +15, each step needs a finished Amplify Stone, made from its fragment through Substance Morph. Spend them on crafted gear you plan to keep rather than every Expedition piece. See Amplify Stone.
Clear Out Old Gear
Replaced pieces can be removed from your Cube with Item Extraction: select the piece, click the flask icon, check what you'll lose and receive, then confirm. Check the Market value of tradable gear first. See Old Gear, and for the materials extraction gives you, the Materials hub.
