In PvE, Chanter combines melee damage, group buffs, and healing, so your setup depends on the job your party needs. The recommended aion 2 chanter build starts with Dark Crush, Onslaught, and Recuperation, uses Undefeated Mantra, Sprint Mantra, and Power of the Storm, and changes the fourth stigma to match your role. Build Spinning Strike next, and aim for Attack Preparation, Impact Hit, and Wind's Promise on your gear.
Which Chanter preset should you use?
Use the skill window's preset tabs 1, 2, and 3 to save different roles. Keep the three core stigmas as your starting point, then choose the fourth slot below. After saving, switch tabs and check that the intended stigma and specializations are selected.

Damage preset: recommended when healing is covered
Take Marchutan's Wrath in the fourth slot. You retain the party buffs while focusing on damage, but its extra damage is modest in player testing. Treat it as a comfortable offensive pick; it is less valuable than bringing the heal or defensive tool your group actually needs.
Healer preset: recommended when you are the only healer
Take Healing Touch, especially at level 15, where it removes five debuffs. Spinning Strike's blue specialization adds 10% Heal Boost and becomes useful when you are the only healer in hard content.
For Recuperation, keep the two-use, stacking-heal specialization and the extra 5% HP restored. At level 20, choose the blue line that removes two debuffs for fights with frequent negative effects. When cleansing is less important, the red line's three-second cooldown reduction is the alternative. Check the selected third specialization before entering the fight.
Support preset: recommended when survival is the problem
Choose Barrier Spell for group invulnerability, Impeding Authority for large shields and resistance, or Focused Defense for blocking attacks. Focused Defense gains an extra use at level 5 and can be used while moving at level 10. Match the tool to the danger instead of keeping a damage stigma through every encounter.
Coordinate with your Cleric before locking the preset. Undefeated Mantra does not stack with Light of Protection, and Power of the Storm's effect does not apply while Earth's Blessing is active. You can replace the overlapping stigma if your Cleric supplies that effect. Use the AION 2 Cleric build when planning the two support roles together.
Which skills and specializations come first?
Raise Dark Crush, Onslaught, Recuperation, Spinning Strike, then Incandescent Blow in that order. If your available bonuses cannot bring all four main skills to level 20, prioritize the first three rather than spreading upgrades evenly.

The specialization window initially looks like five equivalent colored choices. Actually, skill level controls both the lines you unlock and how many you can select: level 8 opens the first three lines with one selection, level 12 opens the fourth with two selections, level 16 opens the fifth, and level 20 allows three selections.
| Skill | Target | Specializations to check |
|---|---|---|
| Dark Crush | Level 20 priority | Remove cooldown, chain Piercing Strike, critical hit chance |
| Onslaught | Level 20 priority | Chain Storm Chain, reduce Spinning Strike cooldown by 1 second, +50% Multi-Hit |
| Recuperation | Level 20 priority | Two uses with stacking heal, +5% HP restored, cleanse or cooldown choice |
| Spinning Strike | Next level 20 target | Ignore block and evasion with crit, reduce cooldown by 5 seconds, +20% damage against few targets |
| Incandescent Blow | Level 16 | Ignore block and evasion with Multi-Hit, +12% damage against few targets |
| Impactful Crush | Level 12 is enough | Usable while moving, +30% Skill Speed |
For the four-skill target, the level calculation is 10 base + 4 Daevanion + 4 Arcana + 2 gear = 20. Look for Dark Crush, Onslaught, Recuperation, and Spinning Strike bonuses on rings, checking each ring's actual skill lines. A ring bonus varies by item; owning two rings alone does not complete the calculation.
Confirm each upgrade in the skill window: the final level must reach the breakpoint, and the intended specialization must be selected. A higher level without the useful specialization is an unfinished setup.
For passives, invest in Attack Preparation, Impact Hit, and Wind's Promise, then Inspiring Spell. These improve PvE damage, Impact access, and critical damage. Keep the same three priorities when comparing armor, necklaces, and earrings.
How should you allocate Chanter Arcana?
Arcana gives divine stats as well as skill and passive levels. The useful check is the total across your cards, rather than whether one card matches a perfect-looking roll. The following is a complete +5-card allocation example for the four-main-skill target.

Parchment of Vigor: recommended for this allocation
| Card | Divine stat | Skill and passive allocation |
|---|---|---|
| Mirror of Magic | Wisdom [Lumiel] | Wind's Promise 4, Impact Hit 3, Inspiring Spell 1, optional Earth's Promise 1 |
| Bell of Magic | Destruction [Zikel] | Attack Preparation 4, Blessing of Life 3, Protection Circle 1, one passive of your choice |
| Compass of Magic or Vigor | Death [Triniel] or Freedom [Vaizel] | Recuperation 4, Incandescent Blow 2, Gust Rampage 2, Impactful Crush 1 |
| Parchment of Vigor | Life [Yustiel] | Onslaught 4, Dark Crush 3, Spinning Strike 1, one skill of your choice |
| Chalice of Vigor | Time [Siel] | Spinning Strike 3, Dark Crush 1, Wind's Promise 3, Attack Preparation 1 |
Choose Compass of Magic when you need Critical Hit, or Compass of Vigor when you need Accuracy. Either way, preserve the +4 Recuperation goal. Fill Chalice last, using it to complete missing main-skill bonuses before adding remaining points to Wind's Promise and Attack Preparation.
Check the totals after equipping everything: +4 each to Onslaught, Dark Crush, Spinning Strike, and Recuperation; +7 Wind's Promise, +5 Attack Preparation, and +3 Impact Hit. You can redistribute rolls across cards as long as those totals survive.
Parchment of Magic: an alternative divine-stat direction
Parchment of Magic carries Destiny [Marchutan], while Parchment of Vigor carries Life [Yustiel]. If you change parchment, recalculate every main-skill bonus before treating the build as finished.
Korean Arcana sets and possible Lord-stat rolls differ from the global client. Copy the skill totals and stat priorities that your cards can support rather than assuming an overseas card configuration transfers directly.
What gear should you work toward?
For progression, complete your max-level dungeon set, move into Splendent variants of the same quality, and upgrade your weapon first. Party-focused setups favor survivability and buff upkeep; solo-focused setups lean toward attack and crit.
The crafted Splendent Ebony Dragon Lord set at +20 with maximum potential is a very late-game target. You do not need that full set before using the skill and stigma setup. Plan upgrades around your available resources with AION 2 Kinah farming.
| Gear area | What to look for | How to check the choice |
|---|---|---|
| Staff and guard | Combat Speed, Damage Boost, Weapon Damage Boost, Multi-hit Chance, Might | Read the Soul Binding lines on both pieces |
| Armor and passive jewelry | Attack Preparation, Impact Hit, Wind's Promise | Check that upgrades preserve the key passive bonuses |
| Rings | Main-skill levels and Might | Add the actual ring bonuses to your skill-level totals |
| Abyssal bracelets | Illusion, Time, Wisdom, Destruction | Check the named divine stats on the item |
| Manastones | Superior Back Attack Damage Boost +100; other viable Ultimate lines include Damage Boost, Weapon Damage Boost, or Critical Damage Boost +100 | Confirm the socketed stat; Attack +10 is a fallback without an Ultimate line |
Might increases Attack by a percentage. Destruction increases Attack, Wisdom adds Double Chance, Time improves Combat Speed, and Illusion reduces cooldowns. Check your existing Accuracy before taking extra Accuracy over a damage option; your gear, buffs, and other bonuses affect that decision.
How do you run the build in combat?
Apply buffs manually before the pull
Cast Undefeated Mantra, Sprint Mantra, and Power of the Storm by hand, accounting for Cleric overlap. Keep them outside the damage macro. Check that the intended buffs are active before you start attacking; letting one drop costs the whole party.
Set up the two skill chains
Put Dark Crush, Spinning Strike, Impactful Crush, and Incandescent Blow on the first line, in that order. Put Wave Blow then Heat Wave Blow on the second. The in-game macro uses the heads of those lines: Dark Crush, then Wave Blow. Check both line orders before testing; the order is part of the setup.
Maintain Spinning Strike and respond to the party
Spinning Strike makes Dark Crush available and gives 15% Critical Damage Boost for 30 seconds, stacking twice. Recast it before the duration expires, checking that the bonus remains active. Dark Crush gains bonus damage against an Impact-affected target. Stay just behind the front line and shift from damage to healing when the party needs it.
Test the macro and Skill Queue
Hold right click and left click to combine the in-game macro with auto-attacks. When backing away to chain Dark Crush at range, release left click. A mouse macro that keeps forcing basic attacks can leave you swinging at empty air and losing damage, so the in-game macro is the more flexible choice.
At a training dummy, open the damage meter with Ctrl + X and compare Skill Queue on and off under Settings > Combat. Keep the option that performs better with your ping; the meter comparison is your check.
You now have a PvE core, a fourth-slot choice for your party role, and clear skill totals to check before spending on upgrades. For your next decision, compare Chanter's role with the AION 2 class tier list, or return to AION 2 classes to choose another build to pair with it.
